Computer World, a series of eight books based on Windows 7 and Microsoft Office 2010, is our diligent effort to provide the best and most comprehensive understanding of the knowledge of computers and its utilities. While imparting quality education in the field of computer science that adheres to the guidelines of National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 and visions of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which conforms to the syllabus prescribed by CBSE and other State Boards, it goes beyond the boundaries to equip the children with the life skills they would need as responsible citizens of tomorrow.

Full of illustrations, screenshots, tips, facts and activities, each concept has been presented in a child-centric manner and makes an easy, interactive read. Most of the screenshots show a step-by-step pedagogy, which simplifies the more complex computer concepts. The terms and examples described in these books are those that everybody will encounter when using computers in the school setting as well as at home. Simple exercises at the end of each chapter are designed to test the understanding of the students.

The focus of the books at the primary level is on developing basic concepts and skills required to operate a computer. We have included programs such as MS Paint, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, LOGO, etc. In books 6 to 8 of this series, higher level of concepts and programs have been taught. These include Flash, Photoshop and HTML among others.
