Let’s Do Mental Maths is a series of five books for the students of classes 1 to 5. The series has been framed following the visions of NEP 2020 which emphasises on making the students proficient in Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) skills and the guidelines of NCF 2023 which states that the main goal of mathematics education in schools is to develop numeracy skills, enhance problem solving skills, nurture analytical ability and mathematise the learner’s thought process.

Mental maths is a group of skills that allow people to do maths ‘in their head’ without using pencil and paper or a calculator. The series has adopted a learner-centric approach to develop these skills so that mental computation becomes not just a ‘school skill’ but a ‘life skill’. It aims at preparing the students to be able to comfortably face the mathematical demands of life, school and other walks of life and help them understand maths concepts better and get to the answers faster.
