Equator – My Book of Social Science is a series of five books for classes I to V that strictly conforms to the guidelines of the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2023 and follows the visions of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The chapters have been framed to establish regional aspects of the topics under study to enhance the understanding of the learners as per the requirements of NCF.

The series focuses on inter-disciplinary approach to strengthen the thinking skills of the learners and focus on knowledge-based learning. The books aim to provide life skills and values and social learning to the learners. The process of learning is participative and emphasis has been laid on discussions and debate rather than mere imparting of knowledge. The book uses lucid language with attractive illustrations and images along with welldefined maps to provide ease in the process of understanding.
